PILATES TEACHER
"I’m passionate about helping others feel good in their body. I’m dedicated to creating a space where everyone can feel empowered and build confidence in their pilates practice."
I’ve been practicing Pilates for the last decade or so, first discovering it by tagging along to my mom’s sessions as she used pilates to regain mobility following breast cancer. I noticed I always walked out feeling better in my body - lighter, strong, and more grounded.
Being a competitive athlete and dancer most of my life, I’ve struggled with body image and fitness - thinking the harder I worked out the better - that meant HIIT classes and heavy weight training multiple times a week. That lead me to burnout and an inflamed body. While I still love mixing in an “empty the gas tank” type of workout and lifting heavy weight, pilates has taught me to honor my body and find both strength and length in my body. It’s showed me the value it brings to a well-rounded fitness routine and the strength it brings to all the everyday things in life that I move through. I’ve seen the power that the pilates can create in both body and mind and how it values to each unique person, whether that’s mobility like my mom or more athletic and strength-focused like myself.
I’m passionate about helping others feel good in their body. I’m dedicated to creating a space where everyone can feel empowered and build confidence in their pilates practice. I strive to have my clients leaving our sessions feeling challenged yet supported, energized, and accomplished.
